Adam Lambert owned the night in the premiere competition of the top 13 finalists of American Idol Season 8.  Putting his own unique take on Michael Jackson’s “Black and White” Lambert put on a performance that left his competitors back in the amateur category where they belong.

 

A consummate artist that is far beyond the confines of the Idol stage and already deserves a record contract, Lambert was already showing that he was a thoroughbred in the singing competition early on and proved it on this night.

 

 

 

 

 

His singing range is amazing and his stage presence is formidable.  He is an artist that has struggled in Hollywood for some time and the artistic muscle that he earned out of that struggle has paid off, and the world has taken notice. Hollywood will now be begging to get his attention.
