Rolling Waves

With rolling waves, you toppled me

Rippling sheets and skin

Promises made in gasps not meant to keep

But pounding passion filled me with forgetfulness

Leaving foam on the shores of my thoughts

Of the truth that heated climax cannot hide

The emptiness of a soul not filled 

Simply the remembrance of your smell

And your loveless heart
