San Francisco Mayor, Gavin Newsom, made it official that he is running for Governor of California. Known for his pivotal endorsement for Gay Marriage, Newsom has also been an advocate for many progressive economic and social programs and initiatives.

Currently trailing in the polls, there is no doubt that this popular and sometimes controversial politician will be a frontrunner. I support his candidacy.
