When I first heard Vampire Weekend’s unique sound that mixed a kind of preppy, college literary ,lyric play on words with an afro pop kind of rhythm music, I became a fan.  There is something very “Pied Piper” appealing about their music.

Since their beginnings at Columbia University in 2006 , the band has gained significant buzz in the industry with the release of their self titled album.  They are currently on a world wide tour.
