The New York and Puerto Rico American Idol Auditions did not impress me much. I really do not know who to comment on that I thought were exceptional. Melinda Camille was alright. Jackie Tong was alright. Even Nick Mitchell was alright.  I mean I was glad it was just an hour show.

It makes you wonder what this season is going to be like as far as talent. I hope we see the level go up from last year and that we have some really great singers that will surprise us. I am hoping that American Idol has not lost its shine. 

Let’s at least not judge it on the New York and Puerto Rico auditions alone.
