Award Winning Podcast Gets New Name – Feast of Fun!

The Podcast that has won the People’s Choice Award for Best GLBT Podcast consecutively for the past three years has recently undergone a name change. The Feast of Fools is now the Feast of Fun!

I personally think the name change speaks to the heart of the show where humor underlies every topic discussed even, if occasionally,  it takes on more serious discussion tones like same sex marriage or hate crimes. Humor has often been the great coping mechanism of the gay community following the long tradition of oppressed minorities.

What is unique about the Feast of Fun really lays within its creators, partners in business and life, Fausto Fernos and Marc Felion, who have leveraged their homegrown podcast to one of the most unique LGBT voices on the internet. The chemistry between Fernos and Felion feeds well over cyber space and has built them thousands of loyal fans all over the world.

They offer their podcast for free and rely heavily on donations. You can also download ther podcast from iTunes.  Many times on my commute to and from work, I have broken out in laughter listening to their banter with their special guests about various topics. They also like to feature LGBT music artists and their music. Celebrities like George Takei, Kathy Griffin and others have been guests on the show.

On their web site they also have one of the best community forums broaching many topics for discussion. The show is taped in Chicago is definitely one of the great exports of that city.

The Feast of Fun podcast is a definite download for anyone gay or straight to enjoy, laugh, and well…have fun…..loads of it!
