It’s a Battle of the Boys in Idol’s Top 3 Finalists

And now they are three.  So American Idol’s top three finalists after the Rock theme week of competition are Danny Gokey, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert.  It is going to be the battle of the boys!

Allison Iraheta, a powerhouse in her own right, was voted out after America turned in a record breaking non finale count of 64 million votes.  I agree with Ryan Seacrest that we will be hearing this 17 year old’s singles soon on the radio. She is that good.

Adam Lambert gave the most prolific performance of Led Zeppelin’s “A Whole Lotta Love.”  He dominated the stage and wowed both the judges and the audience.  Celebrity mentor Slash had even commented on his vocal range. He certainly solidified his front runner status again after his previous week’s bottom 3 ranking.

Next week the three finalist head to their home towns and then will perform two songs during the week’s competition. One of the songs will be selected by the judges and the other will of their own choosing.

  1. Great story!
I did watch American Idol, and I was shocked that Allison got voted off. I can’t wait for next week’s American Idol! I want Kris Allen to win. Down with Adam Lambert! 😀
