This new season of 90210 is simply starting out like some case study in bad writing for a TV show. The main plot of the most recent episode I saw was whether or not a naked picture of a girl was going to be text all over school. Riveting drama. The commercials were more interesting.

Comparing it to such superior written shows like BBC America’s Skins or even some of CW’s other offerings, 90210 is one of TV’s low points this season.  It is too bad. There are some good actors on this teen drama.

No matter how good looking the cast ( which this show has a lot of eye candy) this latest update of  the famous zip code is better erased off the map from the TV viewing audience and replaced with something more interesting like a knitting show from Panguitch, Utah.
