I just finished watching the final selection of the top 11 finalists who will be competing in this year’s So You Think You Can Dance Season 7 competition. Unlike some other reality shows on TV , this show just keeps getting better.
The talent is just even more amazing with each new season. There is a twist to this season in that they are bringing back old competitors from previous seasons to act as non competing partners to this year’s contestants. Also there were only supposed to be 5 girls and 5 guys competing this year but they added one more guy spot because the talent was just that good.
The season seven all-stars are: * Lauren Gottlieb, a Jazz/Hip Hop/Contemporary/Broadway dancer from season 3 * Courtney Galiano, a Jazz/Contemporary/Broadway dancer from season 4 * Kathryn McCormick, a Jazz/Contemporary/Broadway dancer from season 6 * Anya Garnis, a Ballroom/Latin dancer from season 3 * Comfort Fedoke, a Hip-hop/Krump dancer from season 4 * Allison Holker, a Jazz/Contemporary/Broadway dancer from season 2 * Stephen “Twitch” Boss, a Hip-hop/Popping & locking dancer from season 4 * Dominic “D-trix” Sandoval, a Hip-hop/Breaking dancer from season 3 * Pasha Kovalev, a Ballroom/Latin dancer from season 3 * Ade Obayomi, a Jazz/Contemporary/Broadway dancer from season 5 * Mark Kanemura, a Jazz/Contemporary/Broadway dancer from season 4 * Neil Haskell, a Jazz/Contemporary/Broadway dancer from season 3
I think that we are in for some amazing performances that will simply outdo whatever has been done before.
