The Final Five: Sonica Vaid, La’Porsha Renae, Trent Harmon, Mackenzie Bourg, Dalton Rapattoni

We are now heading to the finale soon for the 15 year American Idol franchise. Whether you like the show or not, no one can argue the impact it has had on the music industry and television.  I have been one of the faithful viewers of the year and is feeling the reality that this is the farewell season.

I clearly remember the first season when Kelly Clarkson won the competition. She is one of several idols who have conquered the music industry but also other Idols who have made a place for themselves in every genre of entertainment. Whether they have become the winner of Idol or not, many have used their participation and visibility they received  from the show to become winners in their careers.

So now in the current season, are five remaining competitors. The final judges save has been given. Now, it is really America that will choose the winner and put the exclamation point to this farewell season.
