Joshua Allen
Joshua Allen won the 2008 So You Think You Can Dance Competition this season after 60 million votes came pouring in from America. This is the first time a street dancer and an untrained dancer won the competition. The runner up, Twitch was also street dancer and also untrained.
The friendly rivalry between Joshua and and Twitch also added some flavor and excitement to probably the best season of the show in terms of choreography and the level of contestant dancing talent.
Allen was a standout from the beginning and was a favorite among the judges and the audience. America got it right.
