Episode 3 found the contestants flying to La Paz, Bolivia. Trying to find clues with some of those challenges at 12,000 feet above sea level was not an easy task. I especially thought the Bumpy Ride challenge was especially harrowing. Those homemade wooden bikes looked like they were about to fall apart!
When Marisa and Brooke led the marching band through the streets, I thought they must have stopped traffic. Two cute blonde girls leading a band!
Then, of course, we had to deal with all that irritating, bitchy drama between Kelly and Christy and Starr. Someone was mad about someone throwing her bra somewhere… It was so ridiculous. Poor Nick. He tried to be the peacemaker but those gals will not relent until they get their claws into each other. Sigh!
I enjoyed the Fighting Cholita challenge the best. I thought Ken was such a great sport. He wore that ridiculous outfit and played to the audience so well. I was so glad that he and Tina came in first. Then kudos to Mom and son pair, Toni and Dallas. They really worked together. I thought Mommy Toni was going to faint a couple of times because of the altitude, but she hung on and they came in second place.
I was sorry that Mark and Bill came in last place because of a penalty. The rules of the game had to be played but I would have preferred for the whiny pair Kelly and Christy to have been booted off. However, I am sure they will add more drama with their feud with Starr.
I was amazed at the amazing vistas and culture around La Paz. But, boy, if you want to win this game, you really want a good taxi driver who knows directions. There were some close calls. I cannot wait for the next episode!
