I simply love Ellen.  She is a survivor. She is a star.  She is an entertainer. She is an activist.  She is funny. She is human.

I have watched her over the years and I believe that she is the equivalent of our modern day mixture of Carol Burnett and Merv Griffin, if that makes sense.   During a time when our country is in serious economic problems and many are hurting,  she brings us comfort and laughter.

In her season opener and to our delight she does a dance number with the most recent contestants of So You Think You Can Dance.  She brings it on!  Thank you, Ellen!
