This is one of the most beautiful and touching songs I have ever heard–and I’m 82 years old! The poetry is so apt, so very good. Several singers do great justice to it. Among them, of course, the exquisitely beautiful guy with the exquisitely beautiful voice, Brian Stokes Mitchell. There are two other beautiful guys who give great renditions, Brent Barrett and Ciarhan Sheehan. Interesting that the beauty of the singers matches the beauty of the song so very well.
