American Idol 2010 Top 24

Last week four of the American Idol’s 24 finalist’s were eliminated.  I have been a huge fan of the show but frankly this group’s first week was lackluster at its best.  I just expected better performances and standouts.

I know the show seems to be positioning the girls as better talented but I did not really see anyone shine.  I hope this is not a reflection of things to come.

I mean Paula is gone and Ellen is now a judge, but the judges are only part of the components that make the show a success.  The contestants make the show. On the heels of the last season standouts like  Lambert,  Allen, Gokey and Iraheta …I hope this week’s episodes us reasons to stay watching and cheering for a true American Idol in the making.
