Yet There Can Still Be Love
by: JP Leddy
No flowers, No candy hearts
No chocolates, No sweetheart cards
Yet there can still be love
There are those who need your listening ear
There are those who need your comforting hug
There are those who need your food to eat
There are those who need your time
There are those who need your spare change to live
There are those who need your voice to advocate
There are those who need your empathy
No flowers, No candy hearts
No chocolates, No sweetheart cards
Yet there can still be love

Very beautiful! I like the strong message behind this, making us be less selfish about this day.
(Um, line 4 of the second stanza – 2 ‘those’??)
Thank you, Jessica….for catching that oversight…..you are a doll!
Hope you have a great day!

You touched my heart so with this one. This is true and often forgotten wisdom.
Jamie.
Thanks you 🙂
