I have always been fascinated by Stephen Hawking. He has always been a hero.  His concepts about space and time have been revolutionary for humankind.  He is larger than life. He is a genius.

The movie, The Theory of Everything , based on a book by his first wife, really helped me to remember how very wonderfully, human Stephen Hawking is and that made him an even bigger hero to me.

Eddie Redmayne is brilliant in the lead role.  He deserves the highest acting nominations for his work.

I encourage everyone to see this movie.  It has a great screenplay that is both a great love story that is poignant with high moments and sadness.  It is filled with great challenges and tragedy, but tremendous triumph.  It also shows human frailty,.ego and weakness.  It is about life.  It is about celebrating it.

The story of Stephen Hawking is not only his personal journey of overcoming insurmountable odds of ALS  with the power of brain and will , but also the story of all the family and friends who helped him.

This movie inspires in such way that leaves you thinking about it long after you leave the movie theater.
