Matthew McConaughey in Interstellar

The movie is epic in expanding our thought about the latest theories about time and space. It gives us the possibilities about the future of humankind and our exploration of space.  It is also a deep, moving picture about the wonderful mysterious , eternal wonder of being human.

Interstellar brings all these themes together through the moving story of a father and a daughter played wonderfully by Matthew McConaughey and Jessica Chastain.   Amazing performances from both of them. Kudos also goes out to Anne Hathaway for her performance as co-astroexplorer with McConaughey.

The cinematography is one of the masterful ever captured on film.  The scenes inside the ship are realistic and capture the feeling of space travel perfectly.

Besides the wonderful science that interstellar gives us and the dreams of worlds both in outer and inner space, it lays before us the both the best and worst of humanity, the ultimate hope that humanity has the ability and stake to survive in this great cosmos.
