We were able to visit this monument dedicated as a symbol of Freedom in the Western Pacific. The Latte is an ancient structure built by ancient Chamorros in Guam and the Northern Marianas. These pillars of coral were used to support building structures but were also strong symbols of a spiritual and cultural center to the Chamorro people.
