Taking a Moment

Yesterday and today, I just took a moment to retrench. Part of it was just necessity. My body just revved down and rebelled. I stayed close to home and rested.

It is taking everything just to write these few thoughts and it mentally aches just to click the words into the screen. I have not realized how much I needed some down time away from the noise and the chatter.

I like the quietness of it all.
