Towards It

Towards It

By:  JP Leddy

Like a drive on a beautiful day

My life flies by in the wind

Where the road leads me towards it

I feel it on my face like the sun’s rays

Like the wind whipping on my arm

I accelerate pushing on the pedal that is my heart

I moving towards it and I almost there

To that wonderful destination that is not a place

But it is definitely my very warm hearth and home

Zooming towards it ,  towards my happiness

  1. Cool write! I like the entire premise of it though I have to admit there’s the added bonus that it take me to a place where I can step on the accelerator and feel the sun – today was -29, the roads were black ice and a couple of ruts almost took out my tires! Oh how I wish I could speed along to happiness, or at least move to a tropical climate

  2. I like the direction you’ve chosen to move towards … Happiness, may you find it and stay there!

  3. ‘I moving towards it and I almost there

Zooming towards it , towards my happiness’ A beautiful destination to choose and reach to. Beautiful.

Thank you for dropping by my blog.
