Watching both the top 11 compete and then the results show proved that American Idol Season 10 continues to be a refreshed dynamic powerhouse of a show.  The competitors this season are all pretty solid bringing on some especially good performances.  The drama is fever pitched with the voting this week bringing in surprising results.  The judges’ save keeping voted off , Casey Abrams,  still in the competition met with such great emotional response.  It was all captured on camera.  It was great TV.

That is what is great about American Idol .  It is bringing us great TV this year.   It is a whole new kind of show. American Idol is on fire!  It is off the hook!

One of the performances last week was especially moving.  Jacob Lusk brought the house down and Steven Tyler off his seat and the audience, too.    The contestants represent such different styles that voting is challenging and will definitely make results night even more nail biting as it becomes more hard to eliminate contestants.

Thankfully, all eleven will be on tour this summer.  Unfortunately, two will be eliminated this week. No more saves from the judges.
