The deep orange globe sinking into the ocean horizon…
Feeling warm island rain against my smiling face…
Running with boyhood laughter through tropical jungle…
Drinking sweet coconut juice fresh in the afternoon sun…
Feeling the warm white sand between my toes on my favorite beach…
Savoring a sweet mango from my grandmother’s tree ripened and yellow…
Swimming in turquoise blue waters warmed by near equator heat…
Feeling the the Pacific breeze cool the nights as the stars bring dreams…
Listening to stories told for generations that ignite my imagination…
All my favorite things always lead me back to love, back to home…

Bravo! Such a delight. I love it. Thank you. It totally engages and even though it’s not my childhood, it made me feel like a child again. (Thanks for that! LOL!)
P.S.: I only just discovered coconut juice.
Jamie,
I am glad that I gave you insight into my childhood. Coconut juice can be the best especially after playing in a hot jungle.
