When September Meets May
by J.P. Leddy
His kisses melt into my lips filling them…
With piercing clear eyes swimming in my soul…
My hands explore his wavy soft lengthy hair…
I am his September and he is my May…
His collegiate charm found my corporate heart…
A chance meeting turned into rapturous moments…
Much more than sweat and flesh, but sweet amore…
The kind when September meets May….
Who knows fate’s game with such affairs…
There is no denying the sweetness and passion…
When Spring runs directly into Fall…
Joy shines when September meets May…

It’s strange, it’s beautiful in its joyous nature but also a tinged with a wee bit of sadness- I suppose its my interpretation of ideas ecapsulated in September and May. Regardless, a superb write!
