Yes, last night the announcement was made and America‘s favorite dancer was selected in terms of number of votes.  Her name is Melanie Moore.  Beautiful and mesmerizing, she definitely stood out among the contestants.  However, so did the other 3 finalists Sasha Mallory,  Marko  Germar, and Tadd Gaduang.  Even beyond them, this past season will be known for the most talented top 20 contestants in the entire history of So You Think You Can Dance.

The real winner was the show and because of that, Dance!

With guest judges like Lady Gaga, Debbie Reynolds and Neil Patrick Harris,  the show was elevated by their presence , coupled with some of the best dance routines presented on the show.  America fell in love with dance again in a very magical way.

This show continues to be nominated for Emmys and even its host, Cat Deeley, has earned a nod.  She deserves it.  She is the most poised and most likable host on TV today.

The competition was fierce but it was done with such dignity and grace.

I am going to miss this show while we await until next year for the new season.   So  if you think you can dance.. go out and dance…have fun…it is good for the soul.
