As the march to full marriage equality continues it rapid pace movement through the halls of legislatures and the highest court rooms throughout this nation, we are reminded that after all the legal debate sputters out slowly, it is love that remains at the core of it.

Until all are equal in this manner in this country and throughout the world, hate and bigotry is what is woven into the threads of language and speeches cloaked under religious self-righteousness and sophisticated discrimination.

Lady Justice has pounded her gavel and many are finally listening and coming out of the haze of bigotry. We are all the same when it comes to love, despite our diversity. We must raise our united voices and bring to reality what the literary author of Potter fame, J. K. Rowling penned, ” In the end, love wins.”
