If there was ever a season ending that was explosive and completely off the hook, it was earned by the ABC drama , Revenge.  Following the journey of Emily Thorne ( a.k.a Amanda Clarke) and her revenge filled escapades against the Graysons and all those who participated in using her father as a scapegoat for a horrendous terrorist act and other crimes, really climaxed with this ending. A great way to end Season 3.

Two key characters were killed,  Emily gets to enact the ultimate revenge on arch enemies, Victoria Grayson and Conrad Grayson.  Finally in the last minute or two, it is revealed that a certain dad who was thought to be dead for years, appears in a shocking scene.

Conrad Grayson ( Henry Czerny) faces the consequences of his crimes. (ABC/Adam Taylor)

It is television at its best with this kind of genre.  Although there was resolution, the acts of revenge and deception, still lend the question for Emily as to what costs are to be paid for all of it. Also, some of her close friends have lost their lives due to their involvement in her dangerous mission.

Kudos to Emily VanCamp and Madeleine Stowe for playing the lead characters, Emily Stone and Victoria Grayson. Their on air antics rival all of the great diva enemies of the past.

So we are left hanging and anticipating what next fall season will bring, as Revenge adds more complexity and intrigue to its next chapter.
